Who would not want to send a cute friendship message to the current hot and happening hunk of Indian Television, Karan Singh Grover!!When Shraddha Nigam was asked how many bands has she caught Karan with, prompt came the reply, “He gets so many friendship bands that I just cannot keep count”. When asked about his best friends the handsome hunk replies very candidly, “Yes I have many and Shraddha is amongst my best friends. Above all, she is my girl friend too”.
Shraddha and Karan are seeing each other for long now. When Karan was questioned if friendship is a must for love he informed, “Well for us it was totally different. We first fell in love, then became good friends.”
The best part of their relationship is that, both never fail to compliment each other wherever we meet them. It was the same even this time when Shraddha was asked to tell about some good qualities of Karan. “I can go on and on if I start on this subject. He is very patient, caring, understanding and sensible and also a sensitive person. Also he is the best person I have come across,” says Shraddha laughingly. How about singing a song for Karan, and Shraddha chirps back laughingly, “No not me!! In our relationship it is always Karan who does the singing part while I dance. He is a good singer, you don’t know that??”

‘I’m fine if people call me Riddhima’
All of 20 and Sukirti Kandpal is already being courted by one of the most wanted men on small screen.
From playing the lead in Jersey No 10 to being the new Riddhima in Dil Mill Gaye, Sukriti’s life is on a roll. She’s not working round the clock and has chosen to devote time to doing one show instead. Not for her zooming from one set to another. “I have just started working as Riddhima. I want to do justice to this show. I want to get settled in the show. Anyway, I don’t have the time for another show at the moment,” she says.
Replacing Shilpa Anand wasn’t much of a challenge for her. “It was something new for me. I went ahead with it. I am glad the audience has accepted me. Even my co-stars have made me feel comfortable. They never compare me to Shilpa. Karan Singh Grover with whom I have the maximum scenes has also helped me a lot. Even the script was moulded, so I got the chance to build up a chemistry with Karan.”

She has no problems when people call her by her reel name. “I am absolutely fine if people call me Riddhima. I think it is a good feeling if the audience connects you with your character.”
If not an actor, Sukirti would have been a lawyer or social worker. “I have done a lot of social work. I always want to help the needy and enjoy doing it too.”
This fun-loving and jovial girl has been a school topper and has a bright academic career ahead by the looks of it. “I have been a topper for a few years. But I couldn’t continue to keep up to it in the last year as I started acting. I feel it is very important for a person to study as an educated person looks at things differently, is more sharp, sensible and has his own ideology,” she says.
